This project explored how visual design can translate the spirit and formal characteristics of a music genre. Using a mix of realistic, abstract, and hybrid imagery, the composition blends identifiable musical elements with expressive color, texture, and form to communicate rhythm, mood, and energy. The final piece balances physical representation and abstraction to visually capture both the sound and emotional impact of the music.
Chosen Genre: House Music
House music was chosen for its ability to balance structure and emotion. Its repetitive rhythms, layered textures, and steady energy create a visual language that is both minimal and expressive, making it an ideal genre to translate into form, color, and composition.
